The Catalan Tourism Agency (ACT) is the body of the Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya responsible for carrying out tourism promotion policies. Since the beginning of 2010 , it has replaced the former Turisme de Catalunya consortium, which until then had been responsible for this task.
Agroturisme.org is the website on Rural Tourism of the Unió de Pagesos de Catalunya, where you can contact the houses authorized by the Department of Tourism of the Generalitat, through the counties.
Agroturisme.cat is a web portal promoted by Unió de Pagesos that allows you to get closer to the rural tourism houses of Catalonia so that you can enjoy an experience in a rural and eminently agricultural environment. You will find a wide range of options, various experiences in different parts of the Catalan geography that will allow you to choose the one that best suits your needs.
The particularity and added value that we offer you from Agroturisme.cat is the possibility of staying in rural tourism houses linked to an agricultural or livestock farm, an authentic experience that will allow you to live and understand first-hand the tasks linked to the countryside: from caring for animals, food production or the preparation of food crafts.
Apart from activities related to the agricultural sector, at Agroturisme.cat we also offer you information and proposals about leisure activities and activities related to the environment, with the aim of making your stay in the chosen accommodation as enriching as possible.

The Garraf Tourism Consortium, the region's tourism promotion body, was established in July 2000, with the aim of projecting an external image of the region, facilitating tourism development and at the same time contributing to the economic growth of Garraf.
Information can be found on the website www.garrafturisme.cat
An extraordinary diversity of landscapes
A few kilometers from Barcelona, Garraf is a territory of unique Mediterranean beauty. A dry-looking place paradoxically marked by water: with a sea that draws a tortuous coastline and an inland landscape that swallows the rain with an unusual thirst. Sea and rocks, vineyards and castles, festivals and traditions, nature, flavors, and much more.

Space-experience on the essence of Montseny, which allows you to learn about the history and legends about banditry and witchcraft and information and proposals for excursions, recreational, cultural and gastronomic activities in the Montseny and Viladrau Natural Park.
Viladrau is made up of a small and compact old town that opens up widely with towers and garden villas, many of which date from the early 20th century.
When visiting the church of Sant Martí (dedicated to the town's patron saint), you can admire a central nave corresponding to the church consecrated in 1082, paired arches, lateral to the atrium, from the Romanesque period and a Baroque facade built in 1769 with the image of Sant Martí.
The religious heritage also includes the Chapel of Pietat, from the 16th century; the Sanctuary of Sant Segimon, at 1230 m altitude with successive constructions ranging from 1290 to 1782; and the Erola hermitage, from 1571, nestled among century-old chestnut trees and halfway to Sant Segimon.
The civil architectural heritage is magnificently represented by the fortified manor houses of Espinzella and La Sala (converted into domus in the 12th and 14th centuries, respectively), more specifically La Sala declared a BCIN in 1949 and by a whole series of farmhouses of recognized value already mentioned in 1340 that still survive: Mas Miquel, Vilarmau, Mas el Martí, la Vila, l'Aremany, el Pujol de Muntanya, Rosquelles, Mas Molins, Masvidal, can Bosch, can Gat and la Noguera.
We cannot fail to mention stately homes designed by renowned modernist architects such as Can Torra, by Puig i Cadafalch (who also renovated the Ca l'Herbolari building), La Soleia, Can Soliguer and Can Isamat, by Duran i Reynals or the Casa Riera by Coderch de Setmenat.
Viladrau, cradle of writers and poets
Jaume Bofill i Mates (1878-1933), a great poet known as Guerau de Liost, and his cousin Jaume Bofill i Ferro (1891-1968), a renowned literary critic, managed to leave a cultural mark at the beginning of the 20th century that allowed a literary focus to emerge in Viladrau, between Rosquelles and ca l'Herbolari, where the names of Josep Carner, Felip Graugés, Carles Riba and Marià Manent stand out.
Later came the work of Ernest Torra and Enric Larreula, and currently one of the most prominent young writers of the new narrative is Jordi Cabré i Trias, author of a work focused on the bloody acts of witchcraft in Viladrau, La Pregaria del Diable .

A tourist information portal for Terres de l'Ebre where you will find suggestions, places to stay, where to eat, where to shop, what to do, what to visit, gastronomy and typical products of these lands.
UNESCO has declared Terres de l'Ebre as a unique natural and human space in the world, granting it the recognition of a Biosphere Reserve.
On September 27, 2016, Terres de l'Ebre was declared one of the 100 best sustainable tourist destinations in the world. The distinction, awarded by the International Association Global Green Destinations , recognizes the work of the Biosphere Reserve's Tourism Board in developing quality, sustainable tourism that is respectful of the environment and local culture.
This quality mark represents the international community's recognition of a land that brings together natural treasures of the highest interest and two unique ecosystems in the Mediterranean, such as the Ebro Delta and the Massís dels Ports , just 30 kilometers apart.
Terres de l'Ebre is the second Catalan territory to obtain this recognition, after the Montseny Natural Park. In 30 years, this Committee has recognized 610 reserves in 117 different countries, including the Amazon or Niagara Falls; also Doñana, Sierra Nevada or Lanzarote.
The natural resources and the respect that the community has had for them. Farmers, ranchers, fishermen, artisans and artists have seen in their natural resources their source of subsistence and inspiration, as well as a modus vivendi that has translated into customs, festivals and, of course, a gastronomy of produce, which is among the best in Catalonia. From the Els Ports Natural Park to the Delta de l'Ebre Natural Park , from the Montsià mountain range to the Cardó-Boix mountain range, or from the Pàndols-Cavalls mountain range to the islands located in the course of the Ebro River, this land combines diverse landscapes that change shape and appearance with the passage of the seasons, and with the slow but relentless rhythms of nature.
Anoia is a unique region. A territory where three different but undoubtedly complementary realities coexist. Alta Anoia, Conca d'Òdena and South Anoia have their own personality, although they share a common project.
Anoia is a region located in the center of Catalonia that is full of nuances and contrasts. To the north we find the Alta Anoia area with its plateaus dominated by the yellow of ripe cereals in summer and the greens of spring. In the center of the region, the Conca d'Òdena characterized by its lush forests and for being the most populated area and finally to the south; the lower Anoia, the most Mediterranean area full of intense harvests and olive fields.
The Anoia region offers you a lot of different proposals that will allow you to discover its uniqueness and its own personality. This brochure recommends 28 proposals for you to discover all its charm. Relax in a rural establishment, taste local products, visit the heritage, go on bike or hiking routes, discover wine tourism, delve into its origins... these are just some of the activities you can do there.
