Considered one of the gastronomic jewels of Maresme, the pometa tomato, intense red when ripe, does not contain a single touch of acidity and is ideal for salads.

Rounded in shape, without stains or grooves, emulating the shape of the apple, the apple tomato is a native variety. The high quality of the tomato contrasts with its low productivity. The efforts to recover the cultivation of this variety of tomato mean that today it can cope with other hybrid varieties with higher production.
