Coca de trempó

Halal Pasta, rice and other cereals , Vegan Vegetarian

    • 4 or 5 tomatoes
    • 1 onion
    • 2 green peppers
    • Garlic
    • Flour
    • A pressed yeast nut
    • A cup of warm water
    • Extra virgin olive oil
    • Salt
    • Paprika (optional)

    • Preparation

      Melt the yeast with your fingers, in warm water.
      Put the extra virgin olive oil in a container, a little salt and the melted yeast.
      Add flour, so that it is a very compact dough and at the same time fluffy. Let it grow until, more or less, it doubles in volume.
      Meanwhile, prepare the trempon (see tempera recipe) with tomatoes, blonde pepper, onion, salt and garlic to taste. You cut it very small. Temper it with extra virgin olive oil, salt and a little pepper.
      Once the dough has grown, spread it on top of the oven tin greased with extra virgin olive oil. Then, on top, pour the tempera making sure that the juice does not fall.
      Before putting it in the oven, you can let it grow for another 20 minutes. Put the cake in the oven, previously heated to about 180 degrees, for 20-25 minutes.
      Serve when it has cooled.
