Cake of lard and pine nuts

    • 4 eggs
    • 110 g sugar
    • 200 g of lard
    • 1/2 kg flour
    • 20 g of pressed yeast
    • 100 g pine nuts
    • 20 cl extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 glass of sweet anise
    • Water

    • Preparation

      Mix 3 eggs, extra virgin olive oil, 100g sugar and melted yeast with a little warm water.
      Add the flour little by little, until it forms a homogeneous dough.
      Mix crumbled lard and anise.
      Spread the pasta on a greased plate with extra virgin olive oil.
      Paint it with beaten egg and sprinkle the pine nuts and the rest of the sugar on top.
      Let it rest to ferment and sponge.
      Put the cake in the oven at about 180º for about 25 minutes.

      Variations:
      A little cinnamon can be added to the dough.
