Menjamiques is a gastroethnobotanical project that aims to recover the gastronomic uses of forgotten native plants. On the one hand, we make products from these plants and, on the other, we disseminate their uses through participatory cooking workshops. In both cases, we always seek to offer a more conscious and responsible consumption alternative. The first fruit we wanted to revalue is carob, since it is a local superfood that for years has been unfairly discredited. Our carob-based creams offer a quality, ethical and local alternative to industrial cocoa creams. In addition, all our products are suitable for celiacs, lactose intolerant, and do not contain refined sugars or palm or coconut oil. We produce sweet creams made from carob, as well as carob vinegar and carob nougat.
