Inclusion criteria in the Gastroteca

INCLUSION CRITERIA FOR PRODUCERS 

They will be included in the Where to Buy-Buy from the Farm section of the Gastroteca producers in the agri-food sector who have the Local Sales seal accredited by the Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda of the Generalitat de Catalunya , and who produce products included in the catalogue and/or produced in Catalonia.

They are included in the Gastroteca :

• The products that are part of the Inventory of Land Products catalogued by the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of the Generalitat de Catalunya. 

• Products that have a distinction of origin and/or quality recognized by the Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda of the Generalitat de Catalunya. 

• The products included in the catalogue of local varieties of agricultural interest in Catalonia.

• The products that are part of the Barcelona Provincial Council's Land Products Network .

INCLUSION CRITERIA FOR PRODUCERS 

They will be included in the Where to Buy-Buy section from the manufacturer. Gastroteca processors in the agri-food sector who, apart from complying with the general conditions, produce products included in the catalogue and/or produced in Catalonia.

Companies that have the designation of artisan food company and processors included in the Food Crafts Registry of Catalonia will also be part of it.

They will be at the Gastroteca brewers affiliated with guilds such as GECAN (Craft and Natural Beer Brewers Guild) or associations such as ACREFA .

We also include producers who have obtained the Girona Excellent Seal awarded by the Girona Provincial Council from 2014 to the present.

INCLUSION CRITERIA FOR AGRI-FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS

They will be included in the Where to Buy-Buy section in the establishment. Gastroteca commercial establishments, shops, agri-shops, food distributors, agricultural cooperatives, consumer cooperatives, green shops, markets and producers that sell directly, as well as companies that sell agri-food products online, provided that, apart from the general conditions, they meet the following requirements:

• At least 50% of the total references of agri-food products available for sale are produced or processed in Catalonia.

• Maintain excellence in the presentation of these products in the establishment.

• They are part of the network of local shops Comerços Verds Rezero that ensure a range of bulk, local, fair trade, ecologically certified, returnable, reusable or products that facilitate energy, water or waste savings.

The technical committee of the Gastroteca may evaluate the inclusion of those establishments that:

• Have products for sale that are considered of interest due to their differentiated preparation and/or other attributes related to their production. 

• Despite not meeting any of the previous requirements, they have certain product(s) included on the portal available for sale. gastroteca .cat which, due to its highly differentiated production, being available in a very limited distribution network and/or due to other attributes that the technical commission of the Gastroteca consider of sufficient interest.

INCLUSION CRITERIA FOR RESTAURANTS / CATERING / ACCOMMODATION

They will be included in the Where to Taste section of the Gastroteca restaurants, catering, rural accommodation, hotels and food houses that, apart from the general conditions, meet the following inclusion criteria: 

• At least 35% of the products used in the preparation of the dishes offered are products collected on this portal, stating on the menu the name, provenance and/or distinctive mark of origin and quality of these products.
• At least 35% of the wines and cavas included on the menu have a Catalan designation of origin or are produced in Catalonia.
• A minimum of 35% of the dishes offered on the menu are typical of traditional Catalan cuisine, or creative interpretations of this cuisine.
• They belong to cooking groups or restaurateur associations and/or other initiatives related to the promotion of the agri-food and gastronomic heritage of the territory.
• They have an agri-food quality label.
• They have local products or products from producers, processors and establishments included in the Gastroteca .
• Offer minimum quality criteria in the presentation of dishes, facilities and service, which will be evaluated by the technical committee of gastroteca .cat relying on different sources of sectoral and/or territorial information. 

INCLUSION CRITERIA FOR RESTAURANTS AND SHOPS AROUND THE WORLD

Restaurants, catering, accommodation, hotels and eateries that meet at least one of the following inclusion criteria will be included in the On Tastar-Al Món section of Gastrotec : 

• They have Catalan agri-food products on their menu. It will be especially valued if they are products included in this portal and if the name, provenance and/or distinctive mark of origin and quality of these products are stated on the menu.
• Have at least 5 references of wines and/or cavas on their menu that have a Catalan designation of origin or are produced in Catalonia.
• They have at least one traditional Catalan dish on their menu or some creative interpretation of our cuisine.
• Belong to cooking groups, restaurateur associations or other initiatives related to the promotion of the agri-food and gastronomic heritage of the Catalan territory.
• They have products from producers, processors and/or establishments included in the Gastroteca .
• Offer minimum quality criteria in the presentation of dishes, facilities and service, which will be evaluated by the technical committee based on different sources of sectoral and/or territorial information.

In addition, the fact that: will be especially valued and included in your information sheet.
• They have an agri-food or tourism quality label.

On the other hand, agri-food establishments that meet at least one of the following inclusion criteria will be included in the Where to Buy-In-The-World section of the Gastroteca : 

• That they have more than 10 references for the sale of agri-food products that are produced or processed in Catalonia.

• Put on sale gourmet Catalan products that are considered of interest to the destination market due to their quality and/or their designation of origin.

• Have available for sale any of the products included in the portal that stand out for their highly differentiated production, for being available in a very limited distribution network and/or for other attributes that the technical commission of the Gastroteca consider of sufficient interest.

• They have products from producers, processors and/or establishments included in the Gastroteca .

In addition, it will be especially valued and included in your information sheet that:

• The products are presented in a space that identifies and highlights their Catalan origin.
• Shops should offer bulk, fair trade products with ecological certification and that use returnable, reusable packaging or packaging that facilitates energy, water or waste savings.

Notes: 

-These criteria are subject to possible modifications and/or alterations established by the management team of the Gastroteca .cat.

-The same team reserves the right to remove producers / processors / establishments / restaurants / catering or accommodations from the portal in case of non-compliance with the corresponding inclusion criteria.
