Pickled sardines

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of sardines
  • 2 onions cut into julienne
  • 5 crushed garlic
  • Laurel
  • Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon spicy paprika
  • Salt
  • 2,5 dl of olive oil
  • 1 dl of vinegar

Preparation

Clean sardines from tripes and scales, wipe and place in a pottery pan.
On top spread garlic, onion, bay leaf, oregano, pepper and salt.
Then cover them with oil and vinegar.
Let it boil slowly until sardines are cooked.

Variations:
It can be done with any fish.
It also works with rabbit.
