Pastisseria la Vienesa is today the oldest and most traditional pastry of Sant Feliu.

Founded in 1929 by Arcadi Viñas Cargol that, after leaving his first business at the Plaza of Spain in Barcelona (due to the restructuring of the neighborhood for 1929 Barcelona Exposition), decided settled in Sant Feliu due to the increasing industry of cork.

The first "Vienesa" opened on the street Capmany, according Arcadi when, in the way to the cork factories, there was "flood" of people who passed by in front.

At that time the 'star' product of La Vienesa was certainly the "Vienna bread" and totally innovative viennese specialties in the city that gave right from the start a great reputation.

With the Costa Brava tourism 'boom' he opened the second bakery, which is still currently located in the Rambla Vidal.

Over the years the son of the founder, Albert Viñas, after learning his trade in Barcelona, ​​continued and the family business became even bigger, which has always had as its main objective to provide the best service possible, especially with the highest quality.

After an unfortunate fire that completely destroyed La Vienesa around 1970, the bakery was rebuilt with a very avant-garde aesthetic at that time. With small reforms has been updated until today.

In 1999, the business continues growing and open a new La Vienesa pastry in Girona, in the old town, near the Stone Bridge and the iconic La Rambla.

Now the third generation of La Vienesa pastry pushes hard and brings several new features and pastry specialties from around the world, such as the Panettone, the Plum Cake, and many French recipes.


Thus, La Vienesa pastry after more than 80 years of existence, tries to follow and enhance the quality of its products.
