Ramaders de Muntanya del Berguedà Cooperative capon

The Ramaders de Muntanya del Berguedà Cooperative has been selling a premium quality product during the Christmas season since 1998 - the capon.

The aim of caponisation is to enhance the organoleptic qualities of the meat. Caponising changes the bird's metabolism, resulting in meat that is more tender and a taste that ‘drives foodies crazy'. The capons are fed on corn and leguminous grains without additives, much like naturally bred calves and chickens. The result is a natural product of the highest nutritional, health and taste quality which preserves its food properties and maturity for longer.

Characteristic of: Berguedà
Complementary information:

Capons from the Ramaders de Muntanya del Berguedà Cooperative are sold with a label containing the data on the bird (minimum slaughter age 150 days, feeding, health register, type of presentation - class A).
