Pork with the 'Q' Quality Stamp

The closely monitored breeding conditions (closed cycle production, controlled fodder) and slaughter of these pigs guarantees the quality of the meat. This certificate covers the breeds Duroc, Large White, Landrace, Belgian White, Pietrain and Hampshire. The total percentage of the Belgian White and Pietrain breeds used in creating the end product must be lower than 30%.

The slaughter age must be at least 150 days and the minimum weight 110kg. The meat that comes from these animals is pink with creamy white fat, and must be firm and tender.
