A decapod crustacean of the species Aristeus antennatus, it is bright red and is caught between the cape of Begur and Ridaura river (Platja d'Aro), where the Comfraria de Pescadors de Palamós (Fishing Confraternity) works. A vivid red colour, its meat is delicate and tasty.
