Organic Lamb

These lambs all come from organic farms that have passed the required two years of conversion and are certified by the CCPAE (Catalan Organic Agrarian Production Board).

Prior to weaning the lambs spend all of their time with the mother, grazing on natural low-mountain land. From 2 to 3 months the fattening period begins with the same diet described above, proportionally increased to the energy needs of the animal. The aim of this last period, as with calves, is to produce meat with a minimum percentage of fat to ensure optimum taste, with a final live weight of around 22kg and a carcase weight of around 10kg.

The product is sold packaged in trays of 300 to 600gr, in a modified atmosphere (injected gases CO2, O2 AR), with the corresponding label. It can be found in some supermarkets and also bought from the online store.
